My name is Alois Maierhofer, I studied the culinary art and finished 3 years of culinary apprenticeship in Austria. I perfected my skills in the German, Austrian and French Cuisine at many different Hotels and Restaurant’s throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria. With an extensive Culinary training from Europe, I got hired from Celebrity Cruise Lines, where I worked for 3 years as Executive Chef. I met my wife Kara on the Cruise Ship in 1992, and shortly after we got married. In September of 1993 we open a Restaurant in Canton, Ohio called Mozart Restaurant. In 1996 I received my US- Citizen ship. I also had my own cooking show "LET'S EAT" from 1997 – 2000 on the Food Network, in North Eastern Ohio (Time Warner Cable). In 1997 I started a Concession & Catering business throughout the eastern state of USA.
At each Concession show, I bring a unique variety of Authentic foods, such as, Austrian, German, Polish, Hungarian and French. Also at select Shows, indoor or outdoor, I have European pastries and La Creperie.
In the past several years, I have won Awards at these Festivals,
